About Us
We are a forum of Christian men from all walks of life living and leading like Christ.
The vision for Men in Christ ministries was birthed from conversations Pastor Mbasekei was having at various times with two of his respective minister friends – Rev Niyi Adams and Pastor Samuel Ediwe, about a forum where men can be encouraged to embrace biblical manhood in every respect in a world fraught with rank immorality and unfaithfulness, with little or no standards for emerging generations to follow.
This was in 2023, and perculiarly, Pastor Mbasekei had these conversations first with Pastor Samuel Ediwe, then with Rev Niyi Adams, without knowing that these other men also knew each other. His heart being warmed by the kindred spirit he sensed in the enthusiastic responses he received from each of these ministers prompted him to invite the two to an impromptu prayer meeting and dinner, intending to make a formal introduction of the two at this meeting.
And so, when they eventually met for the first time together, it was not only exciting to find that Rev Adams and Pastor Ediwe already knew each other from years before; it was a joy to see the Holy Spirit repeatedly confirming His leading as all three kept finishing off each other’s sentences and receiving verbatim messages in their hearts at the same time, while they prayed and ate together.
The vision, mission and ‘founding pillars’ undergirding the vision for men in Christ ministries was received and outlined under the anointing from this meeting. And after several other prayer meetings, Men in Christ Ministries has continued in quarterly prayer breakfasts and annual men’s conferences.
The Spirit’s tangible witness at these meetings, as well as the feedback from attendees has been nothing short of amazing and God-glorifying!

Our Four Fundamental Pillars
REPENTANCE
The repentant heart is not ashamed to admit wrong. Greek “metanoia”, meaning change of mindset.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
RESTORATION
“Your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to live in” (Isaiah 58:12).
REVIVAL
And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
Luke 22:31-32
We are not called into this because we’re perfect. God strengthened Peter to strengthen others.
RECOMMENDATION
The springboard of which is righteousness and integrity.
Job 1:8 KJV
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
*God’s recommendation is what provides impetus for righteous influence or ministry.
